Report abuse. Xbox kinect are only compatible with the same generation. So since you have the kinect 1 you can only use them on xbox 360. Kinect 2 is only compatible with xbox one. And the games are NOT forward or backwards compatible. Kinect 2 has an advance cpu to recognize siting etc but the drivers are very very specific. 1. By using a USB cable, you may connect your controller to your Xbox 360 system. 2. Press the Menu button on your controller and select Settings. 3.
