I have the HRM Pro connected to garmin connect and my FR 945. I also installed the running power data field and enabled it on my watch. I started a treadmill activity on the watch and then placed it down off my wrist. At this point I thought the HRM Pro would track my cadence, steps, and distance and show that on the watch during the workout. The HRM-Pro is Garmin's high end HRM. It will obviously measure your heart rate, but it also includes Running Dynamics features (link) and HR data collection during a workout independently of a watch. Unfortunately, to use those features you'll have to pair it with a higher end Garmin watch . If you just want to record your HR during a workout The HRM-Pro is great for accurately tracking your heart rate, but to access the bonus running dynamics, you’ll need to connect it to a Garmin watch, such as our favorite running watch, the Forerunner 245 Music, or our best value pick, the Forerunner 55. From there, the data will integrate in the Garmin Connect app, so you can both analyze After updating the strap did not connect anymore. Did a soft reset on my watch. Deleted it from the app. Only thing that helped was taking out the battery from my Strap to reset the strap. After that my watch found the sensor and the app found the strap finally . But unfortunately it is still not working correctly. Same problem- Garmin HRM not connecting to Edge530. It used to but no longer - without any clear reason why it dropped. I changed the battery in HRM. Still didn’t work. Rebooted the Edge530. Symptom - I search for the new sensor and the wheel of doom just keeps turning without offering the sensor. This data field connects to an ANT+ external (auxiliary) heart rate monitor, displays and records the data to a FIT file for comparison and analysis: heart rate, min/avg/max lap/session HR, HR zone, AntID, alias. If you like the app you can thank me by sending a beer: It did not add a new activity to garmin connect. If I wear the strap, take a five minute walk outside, leaving my phone and watch at home just letting the HRM Pro fetch data and I get back home, pickup my phone approximately 20cm from my strap, start the Garmin App on the phone, I can see that my HRM Pro is syncing for a few seconds but no steps or HR or any data is uploaded to the Garmin app. Hi, I'm using the Garmin HRM Pro as external heart rate monitor connecting it via bluetooth to the Apple Watch. Today I recorded a workout session with Apple Activity App wearing the HRM and when I finished I saw different values, Apple Activity App shows 176 max heart rate and Garmin HRM shows 164 as max value during the same session. 8erhA0f.
